Information we handle

• Account and sign-in information. If you register, we handle your name, email address, account credentials, and account status. Authentication sessions may include technical details such as your IP address and browser user agent to maintain and protect your sign-in.
• Calculator and saved-project information. Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you choose to save a project. When you save one, LoadCairn stores its title, calculator type, input values, estimate, and report snapshot so you can reopen and export that work.
• Usage and campaign information. The UPS runtime calculator records tagged visits and completed calculations with the event time and available campaign tags, such as source, medium, and campaign. These events do not include the calculator inputs. When platform page-view analytics are enabled for a deployment, a random visitor identifier is stored in your browser's local storage. A page-view beacon sends that identifier and the app's deployment identifier to the platform's analytics service.
• Subscription information. When you start a Pro checkout, your account email and selected plan are sent to the payment service. LoadCairn receives subscription status to determine access to paid features. Payment card details are handled by the payment service and are not stored in LoadCairn's application database.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure accounts, save and return your projects, generate requested reports and exports, manage plan access, understand calculator usage and campaign performance, and respond to support requests.

Service providers

LoadCairn uses service providers for application hosting, database storage, authentication, platform analytics, and payment processing. They handle information needed to provide those services under their respective terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when needed to protect the service, comply with a valid legal requirement, or address a security issue.

Retention and requests

We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and for applicable operational, security, and legal needs. We do not state a fixed retention period here. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with your account, email us. We will review the request and respond based on the information available and any applicable requirements.
